Phishing e-mails sent to Internet users

Often, phishing e-mails are being sent to Internet users, aiming at tapping their personal data.

This messages may appear to came from a trusted source but their, in fact, target is tricking their receivers into disclosing sensitive information (card numbers, codes /PIN etc) and downloading viruses.

They usually iclude logos of trusted companies and lead their receivers into fraudulent sites through fake links.

We would like to inform you that e-mails that demand sensitive personal data disclosure, do not originate from Bank of Cyprus.

In case you receive a fake message, delete it immediately. You should not open it, follow any link that might appear in it or disclose personal information. Especially if you fill in your personal details, contact Bank of Cyprus on 801.11.802.803 or (+30) 210-64.77.577, as soon as possible.
